Resetting the PAX System Warning When a tire goes flat or, is very low on pressure, the multi-information display will show “PAX SYSTEM WARNING, RUN FLAT DRIVING.” After the tire is repaired or replaced, you must reset the warning indicator (and the mileage counter that supports it), no matter how far the vehicle was driven in the run flat mode. 1. To put the gauge control module into the self-diagnostic mode: Turn the headlight switch to ON. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET (instrument panel brightness) knob. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). Within 5 seconds, turn the headlights to AUTO, then to ON, and then to AUTO again. Within 5 seconds, release the SELECT/RESET knob, then push and release the knob three times. 2. Once the gauge control module is in the self-diagnostic mode, press and hold the INFO button on the steering wheel for 5 seconds to get to the CUSTOMIZE MENU. 3. Use the INFO button to scroll through to the PAX RESET screen, then press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel. 4. Use the INFO button to scroll to the appropriate wheel, and then press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel to reset the PAX warning system display. The screen should read PAX RESET COMPLETED. Repeat this step for each wheel that needs to be reset. 5. Use the INFO button to scroll through to EXIT, then press the SEL/RESET button. 6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) to exit the self-diagnostic mode.

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage. Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard, and related parts. 1. Starting at the top, gently pull the center front covers (A) out to detach the clips (B), then pull the cover out to detach the remaining clips (C), and remove the covers from both sides. 2. Remove the center lower cover (A). 1. Remove the coin pocket (B). 2. Remove the screws (C). 3. Pull the cover out to detach the clips (D). 4. Disconnect the accessory power socket connector (E) and console light connector (F). 3. For some models: Remove the center lower cover (A) with the seat heater switches. 1. Remove the screws (B). 2. Pull the cover out to detach the clips (C). 3. Disconnect the accessory power socket connector (D), seat heater switch connectors (E), and console light connector (F).

NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission. 1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on). 2. Park the vehicle on the level ground. Turn off the engine. 3. Remove the dipstick (yellow loop) (A) from the transmission and wipe it with a clean cloth. 4. Insert the dipstick into the transmission. 5. Remove the dipstick and check the fluid level. It should be between the upper mark (B) and lower mark (C). 6. If the level is below the lower mark, pour the recommended fluid into the filler hole (A) to bring it to the upper mark. Always use Honda ATF-Z1 Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality. 7. Install the ATF filler bolt (B) with a new sealing washer (C). 8. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission.
