1. Using a standard window handle tool (2), release the handle clips and remove the handle (1) from the window lift mechanism, if equipped with a manual regulator. NOTE: Full front door shown, rear door similar. 2. Remove the pull handle trim plugs (2) and remove the pull handle screws (3). 3. Remove the screws (1), if equipped. NOTE: Full front door shown, rear door similar. 4. Using a trim stick C-4829 or equivalent, starting at the bottom by the check strap, separate the push pin fasteners (3) and remove the trim panel (1).

1. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, pry the shift boot from the bezel. 2. Using a small flat blade, pry the shift pattern insert from the shift knob. 3. Remove the nut attaching the shift knob to the shift lever (Fig. 7). 4. Remove the knob and slide the shift boot from the shift lever. INSTALLATION 1. Slide the shift boot over the shift lever. 2. Snap the shift boot into place in the center console. 3. Position the shift knob on the lever, install the nut and tighten to 34 N.m (25 ft.lbs.) . 4. Position the shift pattern insert on the knob and press into place.

1. Remove the door trim module (1), See: Body and Frame\Doors, Hood and Trunk\Rear Door Panel\Service and Repair\Rear Door Module Trim – Removal. 2. Remove the two screws and remove the foam block. 3. Remove the inner belt weatherstrip (1) from the door using the Remover, Outer Door Belt Molding 9093 special tool, if necessary. 4. Remove the rear door glass foam blocker and slide the glass down and out of the glass track (2). 5. Remove the screws (1) and remove the glass run assembly (2) from the door. 6. Remove the screws (2) and using the Remover, Outer Door Belt Molding 9093 special tool, if necessary, remove the outer belt weatherstrip (1). 7. Remove the glass (2) from the door.

1. Raise the door glass (1) into the position shown and disconnect the glass from the regulator (2), See: Rear Door Window Glass\Service and Repair\Rear Door Glass – Removal. 2. Tape the glass (1) into the full up position. 3. Remove the speaker (2), See: Accessories and Optional Equipment\Speaker\Service and Repair\Speaker – Removal. 4. Disconnect the exterior handle rod (1) from the latch (3). 5. Remove the latch screws (3). 6. Remove the trim screws (3) from the speaker opening. 7. Remove the trim cap (4) and the screw (2) at the inside handle. 8. Loosen the lower screw (2). 9. Disconnect the main harness connector (1). 10. Remove the screws (3) from the door frame. Remove the three upper fasteners (1). 12. Lift the module (1) up off of the four trim hooks (2) and lower regulator screw (4). 13. Pull the front of the trim module (1) out from the door and forward to remove the latch.

NOTE: The accessory drive components are operated by a single, crankshaft driven, serpentine drive belt. An automatic belt tensioner is used to maintain correct belt tension at all times. CAUTION: Do not attempt to check belt tension with a belt tension gauge on vehicles equipped with an automatic belt tensioner. REMOVAL 1. Attach a socket/wrench to pulley mounting bolt of automatic tensioner. 2. Rotate tensioner assembly clockwise (as viewed from front) until tension has been relieved from belt. 3. Remove belt from idler pulley first. 4. Remove belt from vehicle.
