NOTE : The vacuum hoses cannot be removed individually. Vacuum Control Solenoid – (Solenoid Valves) : The solenoid valves open and close the vacuum lines from the vacuum bells used to control the shutters, in response to electrical signals from the microprocessor. The few vacuum hoses which are installed are securely clamped, eliminating the risks of interchanging and pinching the hoses Heater Replacement Note: This procedure shows the 940 model. The 960, S90 and V90 models are similar. Disconnect battery ground lead. The following operation applies only to replacement of the heater:

Replacing Trunk Lid Lock Unit, Switch or Motor (4-Door) ZZB1. Removing trunk lid lock unit (4-door) Remove lock unit, See below CA5. ZZB2. Installing trunk lid lock unit (4-door) Install lock unit by reverse procedure CA5. Lock Unit ZZB3. Removing Lock Unit Switch (4-door) Remove: lock unit. cable from the slot on the reverse. Switch up. connector and pull out wiring. Note position of wiring in switch. pins from the switch. switch with cable. ZZB4. Installing Lock Unit Switch (4-door) Install: switch and cable through hole. Note the position of the switch. Route cable to connector. pins in connector switch in mounting. cable in slot on reverse. cover. lock unit.. ZZB5. Removing Lock Unit Motor (4-door)

Connect gauge between fuel pipe and fuel distribution manifold, use hose 5116 and nipple 5265, Plug open end of hose with 5266. Turn gauge cock to position 1, pointing toward hose 5116. B13 Check Function Of Fuel Pump And Tank Pump Pressure sensor is located next to expansion tank in engine compartment. Disconnect connector from sensor. Turn on ignition. Connect wire (in connector) from relay to ground. (Note: both wires are yellow/black, check which one is ground). Fuel pumps should start and be clearly heard. B14 Check Tank Pump Unscrew fuel filler cap and listen. It is also possible to connect an ammeter between the fuse and pump wiring. 740 1985-on: fuse 11 760 up to 1987: fuse 11 760 1988/89: fuse 11/30 Current consumption: 1-2 A. If neither pump operates: Turn off ignition.
