DESCRIPTION Some 2006 & 2007 model year Hyundai vehicles are equipped with a user-selectable auto door lock and unlock feature. The following chart provides a summary of which vehicles have this feature. 2 0 07 AC CENT 2 0 06 – 2 0 07 AZER A 2 0 07 ELANTR A 2 0 07 ENTO UR AGE 2 0 07 SANTA FE 2 0 06 -2 0 07 SO N ATA 2 0 06 T IB U R O N 2 0 06 TUCSO N This TSB provides programming instructions for each vehicle using either the Hi-Scan Pro or the Global Diagnostic System (GDS) tool. PROCEDURE – HI-SCAN The Hi-Scan Pro programming procedure is similar for all vehicles. The Azera will be used as an example for steps 1 through 7. 1. Connect the Hi-Scan Pro tool to the vehicle’s Data Link Connector (DLC) and turn the vehicle’s ignition ‘ON’ 2. Turn the Hi-Scan Pro ‘ON’ and press ENTER. 1 . O FF 2 . On many PSA models fitted with the Hdi (common rail) engine it is necessary to service the particulate filter (FAP) system every 40,000 to 50,000 miles. This will be indicated via the instrument cluster in the form of a ‘Particulate’ system warning. The following components make up the FAP system: Control module (normally located in the cabin) Particulate filter (part of the exhaust system) Fluid reservoir (Integrated in the fuel tank) Pump Injector The FAP system was introduced on PSA vehicles back in the year 2000 when it was developed to reduce diesel particulate levels in engine emissions through filtration. The system operates by burning off particles caught in the filter which make up part of the exhaust system. To enable this ‘burning off’ process the exhaust gas temperature must be raised to approximately 500°C, this is achieved by changing the characteristics of the diesel before combustion by the means of an additive. The additive is held in a separate fuel reservoir (approx 5 litres) which is connected via a pump to an injector fitted into the diesel fuel system (normally in the fuel tank). A proportional amount of additive is injected under the control of the FAP ECU when the diesel tank is filled up, for this to be accurate the system needs to have information from the ‘Fuel level’ sensor to determine what quantity to inject. When the ‘Particulate’ warning lamp is displayed it is essential to diagnose the FAP system first to determine the problem. If the fault describes ‘Fluid level low’ or ‘Filter blocked’ then both areas need to addressed simultaneously as it is normal to find that when the reservoir is empty (approx 5L) then the filter has come to the end of its serviceable life. Please check specific Peugeot / Citroen information for service intervals and capacities,

Getting started 1. Apply the handbrake. 2. Place chocks under the front wheels and engage 1st gear. Remove the Brake Caliper 6. The brake caliper needs to be removed to allow the brake disc to be removed. Working under the car remove the clip securing the brake hose in place. 3. Loosen the rear wheel nuts using a 19mm wheel wrench with the car on the ground. 4. Jack up the car and support safely using axle stands or ramps. Preferably jack up both sides at the same time, as it makes it easier to balance the handbrake action at the end. This will free the hose and pipe. Carefully slip the pipe fitting out of the bracket. 7. Remove the caliper lower fixing bolt (16mm socket). 5. Remove the road wheel. 8. Remove the plastic cap over the upper fixing bolt. Remove the Brake Disc 11. Loosen the brake disc holding screw using a T-30 Torx bit. 9. Use a 6mm allan key to remove the upper fixing bolt. 12. Release the hand brake and remove the brake disc. If this proves difficult, it may be necessary loosen the brake adjuster. To do this, remove the rubber plug…. 10. The caliper will now be loose and can be carefully lifted away from the disc, taking care to route the brake pipe gently to avoid strain. Support the caliper from the suspension spring using string or ties. …and turn the adjuster with a screwdriver inserted through the hole. The disc has been removed here to show the teeth on the adjuster.

You will also see how to change window glass and electric window motor in this series. First, unscrew the 7 screws holding on the door panel. Next you carefully pry off the tweeter cover that is where the mirror is. Lift the panel up and off of the door. Undo all of the wiring connections except for the window controller. Open the 2 black rubber view ports (Circled in Yellow) and roll the window up or down until you see the 10mm bolts that hold the window in place. Loosen, but don’t remove these bolts. Slide the window up, and tape it up, or remove the window and set aside. Next, unplug the door lock plug and move the door panel out of the way. Unscrew the gold 10mm bolts that hold on the metal inner door panel (circled in green in pic5). Also remove the Phillips screw that holds the inner door handle on (circled in red on pic 5) Unscrew the small bolt that holds on the lock cylinder that is behind the quarter-sized black cap on the side of the door. Be careful with that little bolt or it will fall into never never land .
