The fuse box is located under the dashboard to the left of the steering column. The underhood fuse panel (if equipped) is located beside the battery. The circuits protected by each fuse are listed on the plastic sheet inside the cover. Cherokee, Wagoneer and Comanche Models See Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 Fig. Fig. 1: Remove the top corner headlight bezel mounting screw Fig. Fig. 2: To access the turn signal bulb or headlight bezel mounting screws, remove the 2 turn signal housing retaining screws Fig. Fig. 3: After removing the turn signal housing from the headlight bezel, remove the 2 bezel mounting screws … Fig. Fig. 4: … then carefully pull the headlight bezel away from the headlight assembly Fig. Fig. 5: Remove the 4 headlight assembly retaining ring screws … Fig. Fig. 6: … then pull the retaining ring off of the headlight assembly Fig. Fig. 7: Pull the headlight assembly away from the vehicle just far enough to disengage the electrical connector from behind the headlight 1. Remove the headlamp bezel and retaining ring attaching screws. Remove the bezel and retaining ring. 2. Pull the headlight out, disconnect the wire harness and remove the headlight from the vehicle. 3. Install the headlight in the reverse order of removal. Grand Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer Models 1. Open the hood, reach into the engine compartment and locate the lock ring supporting the bulb assembly. 2. Rotate the lock ring 1 / 8 turn counterclockwise and pull the bulb straight out from the housing. To install: 3. Install a new bulb and position the bulb assembly in the lamp housing. 4. Rotate the lock ring 1 / 8 turn clockwise to secure.

Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Headlight (Xenon Headlight) WARNING: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights). Unclip strip (1) in direction of arrow. Release screws (2) underneath. Turn cap (1) approx. 30 degrees counterclockwise and remove from headlight (2). Loosen screws (1). Release screws (2). Installation: – Observe gap dimensions. – Adjust headlights. Pull bumper panel (1) forwards slightly and feed out headlight (2) in direction of arrow. Installation: Make sure headlight (2) is correctly seated in lower holder. Unlock and disconnect associated plug connections (3). Remove headlight (2). Replacement: – - – Unclip headlight holder (1) and remove. Remove ignition unit and bulb for xenon headlight (2). Remove control unit for xenon headlight (3). Installation: Retaining lugs (1) on headlight holder (2) must not be damaged. Make sure headlight holder (2) is correctly engaged on headlight.

1. Raise and support front of vehicle. Remove front wheel assemblies. Remove lower lock pin/guide bolt. See Fig. 2 . Pivot caliper upward and support using rope. 2. Remove pads, shims, guide plates or pad guides and “V” springs (if equipped). Replace pad if lining
thickness is less than specified. See MINIMUM PAD LINING SPECIFICATIONS (FRONT) table. 3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use Disc Brake Expander (49-0221-600C) and an old pad to push piston fully inward to install disc pads. 1 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2 Unclip and remove the trim panel surrounding the radio and includ- ing the a/c vents. (Figure A) 3 Remove (4) Phillips screws securing the radio. (Figure B) 4 Disconnect and remove radio. (Figure B) Continue to KIT ASSEMBLY. 1 KIA RIO: Cut and remove shaded areas #1. (Figure A) HYUNDAI ACCENT: Cut and remove shaded areas #2. (Figure A) 2 Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure B) 3 Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage until secure. (Figure C) Continue to final assembly.
