Front Side Marker Lamps Side marker lamp function via LED which cannot be serviced or replaced separately. Should LED malfunction, replace entire side marker lamp housing LED array. Removing CAUTION! Switch off all electrical consumers. Switch ignition off and remove ignition key. Turn light switch to “0″ position. Remove screws – arrows – . Move loosened part of wheel housing liner – 1 – to side. Reach behind bumper cover and press light – 1 – out of bumper cover – arrow – . Disconnect electrical connection – 2 – . Installing Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following: Insert guide in mount on bumper cover – arrow A – . Connect electrical connection – 2 – and press cornering light – 1 – into bumper cover until it engages audibly – arrow B – . Install screws for front wheel housing liner Body Exterior – Repair Group 66 .

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Section 100-00. 2. If removing the upper front bumper, remove the headlights. For additional information, refer to Section 417-01. To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps: 3. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Item 3: Bolt Removal Note 1. Discard the 3 bolts after removal (install new bolts during installation) 2. Remove the LH bolt and grille stopper. 3. Remove the RH bolt and position aside the grille stopper. Item 10: Upper Front Bumper Removal Note 1. If equipped with wheel lip mouldings, remove the 4 nuts. 2. Remove the six pin-type fasteners. 3. Remove the 4 screws. 4. Position aside the splash shield. 5. Disconnect the 6 moulding clips. 6. Position aside the wheel lip mouldings. 7. Release the fascia retaining clips. Item 12: Fog Lamp Electrical Connector Removal Note 1. Detach the harness push pin from the fog lamp bracket. Item 13: Bumper Nut Removal Note 1. Discard the bumper nuts after removal (install new bumper nuts during installation). Item 15: Valance Panel Removal Note 1. If equipped, remove the fog lamps. For additional information, refer to Section 417-01. Item 17: License Plate Bracket Removal Note 1. Depress the tabs to release the bracket.

1. Drill out four license plate rivets (if required). 2. Remove fog lamps (15200) (if equipped). 3. Remove two nuts and two screws retaining front bumper (17757) to each front fender (16005). 4. Remove one screw (3 on Cobra) retaining front bumper cover (17D957) to each front fender splash shield (16102). 5. Remove three pushpins retaining front bumper cover to radiator support (16138). 6. Remove two upper blind rivets retaining front bumper cover to radiator grille opening panel reinforcement (8A284). Front Bumper Cover 7. Remove two rivets retaining front bumper cover support (17C947) to front bumper. Remove center pins from rivets using a drift punch. Remove the remainder of the rivets using a drill. Use care not to enlarge the retaining holes in the sheet metal. 8. Remove LH and RH headlamp bulbs (13007). Refer to Section 17-01. 9. Insert a thin screwdriver blade between the underside of the front bumper cover and the radiator grille opening panel reinforcement to release the front bumper cover locking tabs on both LH and RH sides, underneath the headlamp opening. Remove the front bumper cover while the lock tabs are lifted. Front Bumper Cover Removal 11. On each side of vehicle (convertible only), remove one bolt and one nut retaining front bumper vibration damper to front bumper. Front Bumper Vibration Damper—Convertible

NOTE: Have an assistant help you when removing the front bumper. Take care not to scratch the front bumper and body. Put on gloves to protect your hands. 1. Remove the front bulkhead cover. 2. Remove the front bumper (A): -1 Remove the bolts (B) and clips (C) securing the front bumper, inner fender (D) and splash shield (E). -2 Remove the screws (F), then pull both side wheel arch portions of the bumper outward to detach them from the side clips (G). -3 With the help of an assistant, pull the front bumper forward to release the hooks (H) from both corner upper beams (I), then remove the front bumper. 3. Remove the bolts (A, B), then remove the front bumper beam (C) and both corner upper beams (D). If necessary, remove the absorber (E). 4. Install the front bumper in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: Make sure the front bumper engages the side clips, and the hooks (of the center and corner upper beams) on each side securely. Replace any damaged clips. Push the clips into place securely.

Remove the bumper cover upper mounting bolts and retainers. Fig. 3: Removing Bumper Cover Upper Mounting Bolts And Retainers 3. Remove the bumper cover lower mounting retainers. Fig. 4: Removing bumper cover lower mounting retainers 4. Remove the front bumper cover from the front bumper back beam. 5. Remove the front bumper back beam mounting nuts. Tightening torque: 9~14 Nm (90~140 kg.cm, 6.6~10 lb.ft) 6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
