Remove the factory AM-FM radio from the dashboard using the special removal tool (not included). Once the radio has been removed, it can be mounted in the CV-RRLA Radio Relocator Bracket which is installed into the factory ashtray slot. Or it can be mounted in the console. Mounting the AM-FM radio into the console can be done in either of two ways. 1. Remove the factory spring clips from the sides of the radio and replace with the brackets supplied and attach to the console. Using this method, the radio bezel sits above the top edge of the console. 2. The factory spring clips may be left attached to the sides of the radio and the radio may be dropped down into the console so that the radio bezel sits flush with the top edge of the console as shown below. Two holes will need to be drilled into each side of the bezel and fastened to the console with supplied screws. It may be necessary to tap the holes using an 8-32 tap.
