Removal 1. Remove the A-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel in this section. 2. Reposition the B-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to B-Pillar Trim Panel — SuperCab in this section. 3. Remove the driver seat headrest. 4. Open the garment hook screw covers. 5. Remove the garment hook screws and remove the garment hooks. 6. Remove the overhead console. For additional information, refer to Section 501-12. 7. Remove the LH and RH sun visors. Remove the sun visor retainer screws. Reposition headliner and disconnect electrical connector. 8. Remove the sun visor clip screws and remove the sun visor clips. 9. Remove the rear door latch cover screws and remove the rear door latch covers. 10. Remove the headliner pin-type retainers. 11. If equipped, disconnect the mirror electrical connector and the rain sensor. 12. Disconnect the headliner electrical connectors.13. Rotate the front of the headliner towards the driver door. 14. Remove the headliner through the driver door. Installation 1. Position the headliner in the vehicle so that the sun visor and coat hook openings are aligned. 2. Install the LH and RH sun visors. Reposition headliner and connect electrical connector. Install the sun visor retainer screws. 3. Install the sun visor clip and sun visor clip screws. 4. Install the garment hooks and garment hook screws. 5. Close the garment hook screw covers.

SYMPTOM The windshield washer pump does not work. PROBABLE CAUSE Impact to the front bumper pushes the bumper back far enough to break the washer pump hose fitting. CORRECTIVE ACTION Replace the windshield washer reservoir and washer motor with updated parts. REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC (I) to unlock the steering column. 2. Raise the vehicle on a lift. 3. Remove the right front inner fender. Unhook and pull back the bumper for better access. CLIPS (6 places.) SCREWS (6 places.) RIGHT FRONT INNER FENDER 4. Release the hooks on the upper right side of the front bumper. 5. Remove the clip from the filler neck, then remove the filler neck. FILLER NECK CLIP WINDSHIELD WASHER RESERVOIR CLIP WASHER MOTOR CONNECTOR BOLT BOLTS WASHER TUBES 6. Remove the right front fender trim, and disconnect the washer hose from the 90-degree fitting. CLIP FRONT FENDER TRIM FRONT HOSE 7. Disconnect the 2P connector and the two washer tubes from the washer motor. 8. Remove the washer reservoir clip and the three bolts, then pull out the reservoir. 9. Assemble the new reservoir components, but do not install the filler neck. 10. Trim 85 mm off the end of the 1,260 mm washer tube only. 11. Route the washer tubes on the reservoir. NOTE: The black fitting is for the front windshield nozzles, and the white fitting is for the rear nozzle. 85 mm 12. Install the reservoir. 13. Connect the rear tube to the straight fitting in the wheelwell. 14. Connect the 2P connector to the washer motor. NEW RESERVOIR Connect the rear washer tube. CLIP BOLT 9.8 N•m (7.2 lb•ft) 15. Install the filler neck with the original clip. Connect the front washer tube to the 90-degree fitting. Then reinstall the front fender trim. 1. NOTE: Make sure the parking brake control is fully released. Relieve the tension on the parking brake system. 1. Pull the front parking brake cable and conduit. 2. Insert a suitable retainer. 2. CAUTION: Do not use heat to loosen a seized lug nut (1012). Heat can damage the wheel and the wheel bearings. Remove the rear wheels and tires; loosen the lug nuts. 1. Remove the center cap. 2. With the weight of the vehicle on the wheels, loosen, but do not remove, the lug nuts. 3. WARNING: THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM MUST BE SHUT OFF PRIOR TO HOISTING, JACKING OR TOWING AN AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLE. THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED BY TURNING OFF THE AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH LOCATED IN REAR JACK STORAGE AREA. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN UNEXPECTED INFLATION OR DEFLATION OF THE AIR SPRINGS WHICH MAY RESULT IN SHIFTING OF THE VEHICLE DURING THESE OPERATIONS. Raise and support the vehicle; refer to Section 100-02 . 4. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. 1. Remove the lug nuts. 2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. 5. Disconnect the (A) parking brake intermediate cable from the (B) parking brake rear cable and conduit, LH. 6. Separate the (A) RH parking brake rear cable and conduit from the (B) LH parking brake rear cable and conduit at the (C) parking brake cable equalizer. 7. Remove the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit from the parking brake cable bracket (2530). 1. Compress the parking brake cable clip. 2. Remove the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit from the parking brake cable bracket. 8. Remove the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit to LH parking brake rear cable and conduit clip. 9. Remove the (A) RH parking brake rear cable and conduit from the (B) rear parking brake cable retainer (2A709). 10. Remove the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit to the RH hydraulic brake line clip. 11. Remove the parking brake cable retainer clip (2A826). 1. Remove the parking brake cable retainer clip bolt. 2. Remove the parking brake cable retainer clip. 12. Unclip the parking brake rear cable and conduit from the brake line clip on top of the rear axle housing.

from headliner. (d) Using panel removal tool, pry DRIVER SIDE visor mount cover off from visor mount. (Fig. 2-4) (1) DO NOT fully remove cover. (e) Using panel removal tool, pry downward on visor mount to disengage two (2) clips and remove visor. (Fig. 2-5) (f) Pull weather-stripping down past top of A- pillar garnish. (Fig. 2-6)
