PROCEDURE: A). When diagnosing a vehicle with an inoperative XM Set Top Box, check for water intrusion into the set top box. If no water damage is noted proceed with normal diagnostics. If water damage is noted then proceed to Step B. B). 1. Remove Set Top Box a. Gain access to trunk and remove trunk pad/carpet b. Remove 2 mounting screws attaching set top box to the body c. Disconnect box from harness 2. Visually inspect body for signs of water intrusion. Without Sunroof or AMP With Sunroof and AMP 3. Note that water may enter at body seams, screw holes, body plugs, or weld joints. 4. Reseal all joints and any other suspect water entry point with appropriate body sealer sealant.

DESCRIPTION Some 2006 & 2007 model year Hyundai vehicles are equipped with a user-selectable auto door lock and unlock feature. PROCEDURE – HI-SCAN The Hi-Scan Pro programming procedure is similar for all vehicles. The Azera will be used as an example for steps 1 through 7. 1. Installation of this kit requires modifications to the front bumper and removal of the bumper reinforcement. Please check with the owner of the vehicle before installing this kit.2. Removal of Stock Parts Please refer to the factory service manual for the proper removal of stock parts. 2-1 Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. 2-2 Remove the under carriage cover. 2-3 Remove the front bumper. 2-4 Remove the bumper reinforcement (this will not be reinstalled). 2-5 Remove the stock Intercooler piping. 2-6 Remove the power steering oil cooler. 3. KIT INSTALLATION 3-1 Mount the Intercooler (1) Mount the top bracket of the Intercooler to the horn bracket using the stock bolt. (Parts used #1) (2) Mount the bottom bracket to the radiator core support lower. (Parts used #17) 3-2 Intake Pipe installation (1) Install the intake pipes I-1, I-2 from the turbo outlet side stock piping to the Intercooler. (Parts used #2, 6, 11)

Customer Concern: There is an engine vibration. Tests/Procedures: 1. To set the right side balance shaft timing, the use of the timing mark and a #2 Phillips screwdriver is necessary. There is a bolt on the side of the block that is removed, and the screwdriver is inserted into it, to ensure that the weight is in the down position when the timing mark is lined up. 2. Make sure the oil pump gear is set correctly. Rotate the oil pump pulley a few times to set the gear. When the oil pump gear is in the correct position it will snap into place. Potential Causes: Improperly Installed Balance Shaft Belt Tech Tips: Just because the dot is lined up does not mean the balance shaft driven by the oil pump is timed correctly.
