3. Crossbar Alignment (a) Position front and rear crossbars so that they are parallel (A=A’, B=B’). (Fig. 3-1) (b) Securely tighten the knobs. 4. Roof Rack Leg Cover Installation (a) Position the tab at the front of the right rear cover into the guide on the leg. Then align rear clip. (Fig. 4-1) (b) Press outer clip to engage to leg. (c) Press inner clip to engage to leg. (d) Repeat for the left rear cover. (e) Confirm that the cover is installed securely. 5. Stopper Installation (a) Install the stopper with the angled portion against the leg cover by pressing the stopper into the groove for the LH side. (Fig. 5-1) (b) Repeat for the RH stopper.

30,000 miles/ 48,000 km/ — Service at the indicated distance or time, whichever comes first. Use this schedule if the vehicle is driven MAINLY in Canada or in any of the following conditions; if only OCCASIONALLY driven in these conditions, use the Normal Conditions schedule. Severe Driving Conditions Driving less than 5 miles (8 km) per trip in freezing temperatures, or driving less than 10 miles (16 km) per trip.  Driving in extremely hot (over 90 ºF/32 ºC) conditions.  Extensive idling, or long periods of stop-and-go driving, such as a taxi or a commercial delivery vehicle. Driving on muddy, dusty, or de-iced roads.  Trailer towing, driving with a roof rack, or driving in mountainous conditions. NOTE: According to state and federal regulations, failure to do the maintenance items marked with an asterisk (*) will not void the customer’s emissions warranties. However, Honda recommends that all maintenance services be done at the recommended intervals to ensure long-term reliability.  Replace engine oil, every 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or 6 months.  Engine oil capacity-D17A1 engine without oil filter: 3.0 L (3.2 US qt), D17A2 and D17A6 engines without oil filter: 3.3 L (3.5 US qt).  Replace engine oil filter, every 10,000 miles (16,000 km) or 1 year.  Engine oil capacity-D17A1 engine with oil filter: 3.2 L (3.4 US qt), D17A2 and D17A6 engines with oil filter: 3.5 L (3.7 US qt).  Check front and rear brakes, every 10,000 miles (16,000 km) or 1 year.  Check pads and discs for wear (thickness), damage, and cracks.  Check calipers for damage, leaks, and tightness of mount bolts.  Check wheel cylinders for leaks.  Check brake linings for cracking, glazing, wear, or contamination.

INSTALLATION NOTE: Be careful not to damage the roof and other finished surfaces of the body when installing the roof box. Do not allow the combined weight of the accessory and cargo to exceed the carrying capacity of the roof rack. An optional Honda roof rack (sold separately) is required to install the roof box. 1. With the help of an assistant, carefully place the box on the crossbars. Open the tailgate to make sure that the box is not interfering with the tailgate. ADHESIVE BACKING BRACKET B ADHESIVE BACKING PLATE ADHESIVE SEALS (4) 4615020B SMALL PAD LARGE PAD ATTACHING SURFACE 2. 3. Open the roof box. Slide the plate forward or backward until the holes in the plate are over the front roof rack crossbar. The plate is located near the front of the roof box. ROOF BOX PLATE Align the holes in the plate over the front crossbar. Attach an adhesive seal over the unsued rear mounting holes along the bottom of the roof box. The seal will help prevent water from entering the roof box. Remove the roof box from the vehicle. 4. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the four brackets B where the small pads will attach. Remove the adhesive backings from the small pads and attach them to the brackets B. SMALL PAD ATTACHING SURFACE LARGE PAD 5. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the four plates where the large pads will attach. Remove the adhesive backings from the large pads and attach them to the plates. Under the roof box, insert a bolt through bracket B, through the plate and into the predrilled hole in the bottom of the roof box. 8. With the help of an assistant, carefully place the box on the crossbars. Be aware of the hardware hanging from the bottom of the box.
