Models ‘04 – ‘05 Highlander, RAV4, Sienna, & Solara, ‘05 Scion tC This service bulletin provides the proper procedures for normal maintenance re- initialization of the indirect Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS). When performing service that requires tire rotation or tire replacement, suspension component replacement or alignments, the Tire Pressure Warning System must be re-initialized. During initialization, the Tire Pressure Warning System, located within the ABS or Skid Control ECU, learns the tire sizes from rotational speeds and resonance frequencies.

Customers may complain of wind noise from the moon roof when in the closed position. They may also notice that the moon roof sliding panel does not sit ?ush with the stationary panel when fully closed. This condition is caused by the gradual loss of the ECU’s memorized position versus the actual position. If either of these conditions are present, replace the sliding roof drive gear assembly using the following instructions. If a creak, tick, or rattle noise is heard at the top or bottom of the windshield, the source of the noise may be the two windshield stoppers bonded to the top of the windshield or the windshield retainers bonded to the lower edge of the windshield. This bulletin

Removal Procedure: Air Filter Enclosure Assy. 1. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor connector from the MAF sensor. (Fig. C1)
2. Separate the fuel vapor feed hose and fuel vapor feed hose No.1 from the Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV) assembly. (Fig. C1,
