All Vehicles 1. Lower the rear door opening weatherstrip. 2. Remove the trim panel clips. Vehicles With Third Row Seats 3. Position the second row outer seats to the forward position. Vehicles Without Third Row Seats 4. Remove the rear seats. For additional information, REFER to SEATING . All Vehicles 5. Remove the lower safety belt anchor bolt. 6. Remove the trim panel. Pull the lower portion of the trim panel outward to release the lower tab. Pull trim panel downward to release upper tabs. Remove the trim panel. 7. To install, reverse the removal procedure. D-PILLAR TRIM PANEL Removal and Installation Vehicles with third row seat 1. Remove the third row seat cushion. For additional information, REFER to SEATING . 2. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt for the third seat strap.

NOTE: Refer to Parts Information Bulletin (PIB) for the proper color sensors. 1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the preset buttons. 2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. 3. Remove the rear bumper. • Remove the two clips along the bottom of the bumper. • Remove the four self-tapping screws from the bumper. • Using a flat-tip screwdriver, pry out and remove the bumper bolt covers, then remove the four bumper bolts. • With the help of an assistant, release the bumper from the fenderwell, and slide the bumper away from the vehicle. • Set the bumper on a blanket. 5 CLIPS DRIVER’S SLIDING DOOR SILL TRIM 852602AE FRONT WEATHERSTRIP 6. Fold the rear third seat and remove the spare tire cover (nineteen tabs). LEFT REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL 7. Remove the anchor bolt and the anchor bolt cover and take out the spare tire. Pull away the weatherstrip from the driver’s sliding door sill trim. Remove the driver’s sliding door sill trim (five clips). Pull away the weatherstrip from the rear trim panel. Remove the rear trim panel (ten clips and two screws). REAR TRIM PANEL
