Remove the clip and disconnect the shift cable from the floor shift assembly. b. Disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness clamp.

DOOR LOCK: TRANSMITTER BATTERY: REPLACEMENT REPLACEMENT HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal. 1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY NOTICE: Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components. (a) Using a coin or equivalent, pry apart the transmitter case. NOTICE: Do not forcibly pry apart the case. (b) Remove the battery (lithium battery). NOTICE: Do not push the terminals with your finger. Do not forcibly pry up the battery (lithium battery). The terminals may become damaged. Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust. Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter as it may cease to work. 2. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY NOTICE: Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components. (a) Push and hold the release knob in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration. Take the emergency key out of the transmitter case.

Some customers may experience a water leak at the front floor area. Water may be Introduction entering the body due to a body sealer void on the engine compartment rear wall, near the upper door hinge. Repair 1. Raise the vehicle. On the side of the vehicle that has the water leak, remove the front Procedure wheel and the front fender plastic liner. 2. Examine (with flash light and mirror) the body sealer condition on the engine compartment rear wall, near the upper door hinge. Also examine the sealer condition inside the inner fender box frame structure with access holes (see illustration).

2. Remove engine stabilizer rod, engine mounting bracket and right engine mount brace, located near timing belt cover. Remove the alternator bracket for access to timing belt covers. Remove No. 2 timing belt cover. See Fig. 1 . 3. Use Pulley Holder (09213-54015) or equivalent and Holder (09330-00021) to hold crankshaft pulley. Remove crankshaft pulley bolt. Using puller, remove crankshaft pulley. Remove No. 1 timing belt cover. 4. Remove engine mounting bracket. Note direction of timing belt guide installation for reassembly reference. Remove timing belt guide. 5. Temporarily install crankshaft pulley bolt in crankshaft. Using crankshaft pulley bolt, rotate crankshaft clockwise until timing mark on crankshaft sprocket aligns with timing mark on oil pump body. See Fig. 3 . Ensure timing marks on camshaft sprockets are aligned with timing mark on No. 3 timing belt cover. See Fig. 3 . If timing marks are not aligned, rotate crankshaft clockwise one full revolution (360 degrees).

Disconnect the negative battery-terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 Unsnap the trim below the climate control to reveal (2) 10 MM bolts and remove. (Figure A) 2 Carefully pull air vents above radio towards rear of car to unsnap. NOTE: There are (3) snaps, (2) are at the bottom sides and (1) is at the top middle of the vent assembly. (Figure B) 3 Remove (2) 10 MM bolts from above radio/climate control assembly. Unplug and remove assembly together. (Figure C) 5 Remove (6) Phillips screws (4 from radio and 2 from climate control) from each side bracket to separate radio and climate control. (Save climate controls and brackets to reuse during kit
assembly). (Figure D
